Alyssa's Legacy: Change the World
The story of Alyssa Janae Ferguson, our school's namesake, is one of incredible strength, selflessness, and faith in the face of unimaginable challenges. Born on January 7, 2002, Alyssa passed away at 15 years old after battling Medulloblastoma, a form of brain cancer.
During her battle, Alyssa chose to use her Make-A-Wish Foundation wish to have a water well dug in an African village in need. Her inspiring journey has touched the lives of thousands, and her legacy lives on through the Alyssa Ferguson World Changers Fund, which funds water well construction and repair.
